Ruilong 4000 led AMD to offer the strongest Zen3 day group this year:

AMD promised to release new processor products every year. From 2017 to the present, this has indeed been done. Last year, the Ruilong 3000 series debuted with the 7nm Zen2. This year, the desktop version of Ruilong 4000 will be upgraded to the 7nm second-generation TSMC with 7nm process and Zen3 architecture.

AMD also announced the good news that the company launch the next generation of Zen 3 architecture CPU and RDNA 2 architecture GPU products in late 2020.

Ruilong 4000 led AMD to offer the strongest Zen3 day group: IPC increased by as much as 15%

In addition to the desktop version of the 7nm Ruilong APU, the layout of the AMD 7en Zen2 family was almost completed in a year. This year, the focus will be on next-generation processors - Zen3 with 7nm + technology, and this time on the desktop version of Ruilong 4000. Ruilong Threadripper 4000 and EPYC of the three series are fully launched.

According to previous news, although the number of cores in the Zen3 architecture will not continue to grow, internal changes are not small: one CCX will have 8 cores that can fully use the 32 MB cache, and the current CCX of the Ruilong processor will have 4 cores. Two CCXs form a CCD.

In addition to other improvements, Zen3 architecture is expected to increase IPC performance by 10-15%. Considering the improvement in power consumption and 7 nm + process frequency, it is expected that the performance of the Zen3 generation will be completed ahead.

In addition to updating architecture and processes, AMD's product portfolio will also be very powerful this year: it will also release the desktop version of Ruilong 4000 for the mass market, Ruilong Threadripper 4000 for HEDT and EPYC enthusiasts, code-named Milan for the data centre market (EPYC series processors 7003), three product lines are being upgraded simultaneously.

In addition to architecture, technology upgrades, AMD's product portfolio this year will be very strong, it will also launch Dacentrurus for the mass market in the 4000 Desktop Edition, for the HEDT Dacentrurus Threadripper 4000 enthusiasts and for the data centre market, code-named Milan EPYC processors (should be EPYC 7003 series), three product lines are updated simultaneously.

For players, the most important this year, of course, will be the desktop version of Ruilong 4000, which will also be equipped with a new generation of 600 series chipsets, including new motherboards such as the X670, B650 and A620. It fully supports PCIe 4.0. Needless to say, it will also support the latest USB4 specification.

The Ruilong 4000 series will be AMD's latest AM4 platform. The next Zen4 will not only update the 5nm process but will also replace new slots. It is expected to support PCIe 5.0 and DDR5, but it will wait until 2022.
